Chance's Deer

I was given a hard time after Chance read our blog for the first time...there apparantly are NO pictures of his deer! Oh darn. Anyway, I told him, "get a picture and I'll post it for you." Not one minute later he brought me his deer picture with strict instructions on how to post it. So, enjoy.

Catching Up

So thanks to Jayanne and Justin, I was able to make my blog a little bit more "me". We had our friends over last night for dinner, movie, and life insurance. (Justin is our insurance salesman). Thanks to his laptop, wireless high speed internet, and Jayanne's blog expertise, here I am with photo's and all! Thanks guys.

I have forgotten how much fun it is hanging out with the Wights. They used to live across the street from us, and decided to ditch Clinton and move to Eagle Mountain. Traitors. Funny thing, we watched "Traitor" last night. Good movie! Anywho, we had a lot of fun eating, eating, and eating. Oh, and watching all our kids play together. Their little Jayci is JUST like Grace. We're really glad they're patient with us...considering they are the ones that always call us. Thanks guys.

Well right now we're right in the middle of finishing a bedroom downstairs for Crede. I gotta say, I am so sick of painting I could spit. We bought some bedroom furniture for Crede off of KSL.com, and Chance thought, "I'd like to refinish this furniture. It's too girly." So I said, "Chance, that's a pain in the behind. Don't worry about re-finishing it." So the next thing I know, he's sanding it down. About 30 minutes into the process He realized that he didn't want to refinish the furniture, so he was all mad that I didn't talk him out of it more effectively. Silly Chance. Well long story short - he spent the entire next week sanding it all down so that I could come in and primer and paint it. Pain in the toosh. And after THAT project was complete, I started painting all the closet, bedroom, and hallway that we had to refinish so that Crede has a home when this new baby comes. I'll post the picture of the final product when we're all done.

As if our home remodeling isn't enough, I decided to take on the dreaded POTTY TRAINING. Duh duh DUHHHHHH. (scary music there...). Grace is actually doing better than I thought though. She is actually going POOP in the potty too. yay Grace. However, she is milking the system pretty much...because everytime she goes in the potty, she gets a small treat. So every 2 minutes I hear..."Mom, go potty?". Giving her some credit, she DOES go, and we're still hangin' in there. Yay for pull-ups.

Crede came down with a croupy cough last night, and it makes me worry. He's still his energetic self though. He's such a cute little boy. He's not making too many waves at the moment, so I don't have much to say about him. Love you Crede!

Morgan is watching Saturday morning cartoons at the moment. She could literally spend the entire day in front of the TV if we didn't tell her to turn it off. I was like that as a child though...I seriously spent a LOT of time watching TV...so hopefully she will still grow up okay. (we don't let her watch as much as I did...just FYI for all you concerned parents out there.)

Chance is down at the church for his Young Men's activity. He is secretly wishing he could be down at the church playing basketball. He's John Stockton at heart. Why John Stockton you ask? He's a short and quick basketball player just like my cute husband. Chance just barely started playing again, and he is LOVING it. It's funny because he started playing with the "boys" at the church on Wednesday night's, and he didn't have any basketball shorts, so he was wearing his swimming suit (which were the only shorts he had). He's got some pretty NICE legs, my husband. (Love you Chance.) So after he started playing again, he went and picked out some new, LONGER, basketball shorts (which cover those NICE legs.)

Well that gets you up to date with the Bailey's. I hope to post again very soon. Have a wonderful day out there.

Our Family

Well I've given into the pressure - and started a blog. I know, I know, it's a shocker, but we're gonna give it a whirl.

Our family consists of Me, (Emily), my awesome and handsome husband, Chance, and our 3 beautiful (and BUSY) kids and one little-one on the way.

Our kids: Morgan is our oldest, most level-headed, and most honest and obedient child. She will be 6 this February, and she is LOVING kindergarten She reminds me of me when I was that age.

Here's our Morgan on her very first day of Kindergarten last fall. Cute little girl.

Grace. Well Grace is our 2nd child - our most crazy and our most mischievous. She is a mini-Chance. She has the funniest sense of humor, and is just goofy. She will be 3 in March, and we're still trying to coax her not to suck her thumb, and to use her words instead of throwing fits all the time.

Here's a picture of our typical Gracie. Crazy Gracie.

Crede (not Creedey, not Cred, it's pronounced Creed) is our youngest and since he's only 12 months behind Grace, he's in for trouble as well. He turns 2 in April and he is the cutest little boy ever. He copies anything his older sister attempts. As a result, he talks really well for his age, and he gets into things really well for his age too. On the plus side, he can sing "Cha cha cha chia!" and he always says "love you Mom." Cute cute.

Here's Crede on a camping trip from last Summer...he likes dirt.

Chance: He works (when he HAS work) in cement work. He works very, very hard for our family, and as a result, I am blessed to be able to stay home with our kids everyday. Chance has a very quick and funny sense of humor and makes me laugh ALL the time...and at times it drives me nuts because I want to stay mad at him...I just can't. He just turned 32 in November, and I am not letting him forget the fact that he's getting OLD! heh heh...

like father like son? I wonder where they get it. This is Chance at Bear Lake last Summer.

Me: I stay home with kids during the day, and I try not to puke because of the whole "being pregnant" thing. I wasn't quite expecting a baby so soon after my two "twins", but we're just grateful that our Heavenly Father trusts us with one more of his children. Lets just hope that we don't let Him down on this one. I also try to be creative in some way during my day. I scrapbook, knit, paint, draw, and read...and I try to do ONE of those things each day. Oh, and maybe straighten up my house or make the kids dinner. I will be 31 this March, and I am thinking how crazy it is to have so much grey hair. It's strange getting older.

So that's our family in a little nutshell....a little Austin Powers there...but I digress. So let's see what this blog will bring. Happiness? Sanity? Stress? Entertainment? Therapy? You'll help be that judge.

Have a great day, and we'll check in soon.
