Happy Halloween!

This year we had a fun Halloween.  I found a way cute idea for a superhero costume for Grace, so that's where our theme originated.  Morgan was Spidergirl, and Grace & Lilah were just plain ol' superhero's.
Happy Halloween everyone!!

Here are some of Morgan in her spidey-glory

I loved how this costume turned out.  My Mom helped by sewing the capes for Grace and Lilah.

This one just cracks me up.

So all the effort went into the girls costumes this year....which meant that Gage and Crede were bow hunters.  Score.

After taking this photo Chance informed me that the bow was upside down.  Oh well.  I guess it's a good thing that I don't hunt.

Gage.  He let me "camoflauge" his face.  It didn't turn out QUITE like my mind had pictured, but what can I say?  He's 2.

And last but not least.....Super Lilah!!
Conquering crime in her Bumbo.

Lilah's 2 months old!

Here's our cute little girl already 2 months old. She just barely laughed for the first time about a week ago (the cutest thing EVER) and loves to smile when you talk to her. I love the way her face lights up when she recognizes you, and I love her gi-normous burps that she lets when you finish feeding her. She is the funnest little girl, and even though I get pooped on pretty much once a week, I still love being a new Mom...........again.

We love you Lilah.

The ZOO

Our good friends, the Steadmans, invited us to go to the zoo with them.  I think the last time I went to the zoo was when Morgan was about 3 or 4 years old.  It's been awhile.  We were really excited, and so were the kiddo's.

Here's a nice photo of the drive down.  That's the Steadman's mini-van in front of us.  I THINK someone is waving at us in there somewhere, and that's Collin pointing in his mirror.

Funny thing....when we got there I noticed a Canon booth set up.  I guess you could give them your credit card info and they would let you "borrow" a Canon and a nice lens for the day.  You can see in this photo that they were EVERYWHERE.  I was rubber-necking the entire time.  (it was a little embarrassing whipping out my ol' Canon Xsi.  Oh well.)

I have fond memories of this drinking fountain.  I'm not sure if there's more than one now, but I remember this thing from when I was a kid. :)

Crede had fun with his "map" again (he has a love for those....just check out our Lagoon Day post) and I think he even carried around a bag (it totally looked like a purse) the ENTIRE time.

That middle photo is of Morgan, Grace, and Alaina.

Our crazy kids.  Maybe next time Lilah can be in the photo too.

Our little family.  Lilah is about 2 months old here....

Big shoes to fill.....

Gage really looks up to his older brother.  He follows him around the house, he loves playing with him in their bedroom that they share ~ and I think that it's pretty cool to have 2 boys in a row.

Here's Gage trying on Crede's shoes one night.
PS ~ I think Gage is pretty darn cute.

Snapshots

I didn't take these photo's for any reason in particular ~ I just wanted to take a few of Lilah really fast.

Obviously, she's not in the best of moods....and I think it's cute.  I love her little pouty face.
We're so happy you're here.

Working my way BACK

Seeing as I'm a few months behind here, I've decided to post our most recent photo's and then work my way back. If you stop by every so often, keep going back and you'll find new posts...if you care to :)

First up: Lilah on her blessing day. I loved, LOVED this dress. If you didn't know this already, we don't like to find out if we're having a boy or a girl when I'm pregnant. We like the surprise.

Earlier in my pregnancy, we went in for the "big" ultrasound. During the ultrasound, the technician says, "Well, it's a girl." Chance and I just sat there, stunned. I was super bummed that our surprise was ruined. But guess what?! I got to go shopping. GIRL shopping. What could be more fun than that?! So I found this website that sold christening gowns and fell in LOVE with this dress.

We didn't want any of our friends or family to know that WE knew what we were having, so I just told everyone that this store had an amazing return policy...(like a 6 month grace period). :) Anyway, Cute dress, cute baby, one amazing day.

Chance was able to give our daughter a name and a blessing and it was so much fun having all our friends and family there to support us. We had a fun get-together at our home after and ate until we were sick. I heart eating. Anyway, enjoy the photo's, and know that I love my little family and my husband that has the values and morals that are important in this world today. Love you Chance.

First Day of School

Here's my 2 goofballs on their first day of school. Grace started Kindergarten this year and was pretty hesitant once we got there to drop her off....but no tears. (yay!). Morgan started 3rd grade which is pretty weird. See, I can remember back to the days when I was in 3rd grade. This gives me a lot of stress because now I totally have the responsibility of being a good parent. If I screw up big NOW...my kids will remember. So. Much. Pressure.

Aren't my girls cute though? I think so.
